Cranio in the Community's Outreach/

​Cranio in the Community continues our partnership with Kids on the Green to deliver Craniosacral Therapy to the West London community. Kids on the Green, is an organisation set up in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower tragedy, supporting young people using music, arts and performance.

We currently run a twice a month drop-in clinic on the second Monday and the last Thursday of the month from 10am to 8pm.  The location is Latimer Road, W10.

 

We share the lovely space with other therapists, usually working alongside homeopaths, kinesiologists and others.  

 

The clinic is well attended and we have a good combination of regulars and newcomers.

Volunteers generally work in shifts: 10am-2pm, 2pm-6pm and 6pm-8pm (the last shift covers teenagers attending the Youth Club). Generally we have more volunteers in the morning as we have more treatment couches than the afternoon.

 

We welcome qualified CST therapists and it is essential that participating therapists possess relevant insurance, proof of CST graduation. DBS check for the youth sessions is preferred but this can be organised by the charity for anyone who is regularly attending.

 

We run a peer support group monthly where regular volunteers get together and discuss various topics, and holding a space to talk about any challenges we’ve faced.
